Trivium Masonic Lodge

3819 North 27th St. Tacoma WA 98407

Trivium Lodge XXII was originally chartered in 1918 as William P. Dougherty Lodge No. 224, which remains the name of the building itself. William P. Dougherty was one of the key men who brought freemasonry to the Pacific Northwest in 1846, and the Lodge was named in his honor. In 2009, the Lodge merged with Tacoma Lodge 22, and took the name Defiance Lodge No. 22. Defiance was in reference to close proximity the Lodge originally had to Point Defiance Park. It was the name submitted on the original request for dispensation, but had been changed by Grand Master Lawler. In 2013, the name again changed to Trivium Lodge No. 22. This change reflected the new goals of the Lodge, to “provide a quality Masonic experience” by focusing more on the philosophical aspects of Freemasonry. Trivium Lodge Members meet monthly. Dinner begins at 6:30 pm and Lodge begins at 7:30 pm. If you are interested in becoming a Freemason or if you are a Freemason and would like to join our Lodge look here.
