Before coming to Edward Jones, I had the unique opportunity through my father-in-law and retired financial advisor, Bob Stewart, of seeing the relationships that he formed with his clients. The opportunity to build a community and environment within a work atmosphere where clients are more like friends is why I came to Edward Jones. Each day, I am energized at the thought of helping my clients reach their financial goals, personal goals and family milestones. Keeping my clients on track to work toward these goals means knowing what is going on in their lives, their family’s lives and being there for them through both successes and hardships. When a client expresses thanks to our office for helping them achieve a goal, it reminds me of the positive life impacts I can have on their lives and their families. Much of our team’s success is built on the hard work of our two branch office administrators, Joni and Nicky. Joni, who has been with Edward Jones since 1991, is married with three children and five grandchildren. Her passions are spending time with her family, traveling and reading. Nicky, who has been with Edward Jones since 2011, is married and loves her family and her dog, Jack. Nicky’s passions are home improvement projects, traveling and spending time with family. I’ve been married to my wife, Lisa, since 1989 and couldn’t be more grateful for our two children, Abigail and Isaac. Abigail has her doctorate in physical therapy and practices in Portland, Oregon. Isaac is studying finance and economics. Jack and Holly are our two black labs. My hobbies include woodworking projects, going out fishing, traveling with my family and working on our cabin on Anderson Island. Beyond work and family, I enjoy the opportunities to be involved in my community. Over the years, I have participated in a number of volunteer based organizations such as Tacoma Rotary North, Proctor Business District, Tacoma Neighborhood Together, Hopes Sparks and the Jobb Carr cabin.
