Please join us for our 30th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, Aug 24, 2024, with featured speakers Mayor Victoria Woodards, Deputy Mayor John Hines and other special guests. Our main program, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM, will start with a brief overview of the Market's ‘30 Years in the District'. It will then move on to an Honorary Street Naming Ceremony by the City of Tacoma for Bill Evans. Bill, a longtime Proctor District business owner, was also known for his involvement in political, social, and civic affairs, and was a Proctor Farmers’ Market founder. As a tribute, a block of N. 27th Street, where the Market is located, will be named 'Bill Evans Place' with accompanying signage. From 11-2PM listen to music by Kim Archer and have some fun with ‘Treat Your Selfie.’ Get your free 30th Anniversary commemorative photos taken and strike a pose with a sign showing how many years you've been a Market shopping champion!
